Trading Our Desks for the Alamo City!
Our headquarters team recently visited our San Antonio team members for the first time, marking our first stop on the “Listening Tour”. We enjoyed a Cinco de Mayo inspired happy hour dinner at a Mexican restaurant on the iconic River Walk. The evening included sharing stories and forging connections over delicious food and drinks, which was a true testament to our company culture and the unity that drives us forward.
Our team attended the First Thursday San Antonio IT Networking Group event at the Quarry Restaurant, where we met customers and colleagues from across the country. It was a fantastic opportunity for face-to-face networking and collaboration.
Team SeKON also participated in a golf tournament hosted by Heroes Sports, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting military men and women. Through sports and recreation activities, Heroes Sports promotes mental and physical health as well as team building. We want to express our gratitude to Michael Ostman for introducing us to Heroes Sports, volunteering, and anchoring our group, which included Seth Littlejohn, Marshall Quen, and Brian Pariroo.
The significance of this visit cannot be overstated. While technology allows us to connect virtually, nothing compares to the power of in-person interaction. Meeting our San Antonio team members face-to-face allowed for a deeper understanding of their work environment and a stronger sense of unity. These interactions will undoubtedly enhance collaboration and teamwork as we move forward together.
We extend our sincere thanks to our San Antonio team members for their warm welcome and hospitality. Your dedication and hard work are appreciated, and we are excited to continue working together towards new opportunities.
