It is with great pleasure sharing that our CEO, Dr. Angela Wilson, has been named a finalist for the March of Dimes 2022 Heroines of Washington awards!
The March of Dimes Heroines of Washington awards recognize women in the DMV area who, in addition to having successful professional careers, use their talents and time to give back to our communities.
For background, since the inception of the awards in 2001, the Heroines of Washington awards have honored over 135 “Heroines” and raised over $4 million for the March of Dimes mission – supporting the health of all moms and babies.
Dr. Wilson has been named a finalist in the Technology Heroine Award and Corporate Heroine categories for her work with several local organizations including, Sharing Shoes, Paul VI Catholic High School, Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!), Fairfax Economic Development Authority and multiple HBCU’s, including the deployment of our SeKON HBCU Internship Program.
March of Dimes will honor all finalists and announce eight award recipients during the black-tie awards gala, presented by ASRD Federal, on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 6-9 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner.
