JOMIS INDUSTRY DAY
The DHA PEO is actively working with the JOMIS community, educating Industry on three future opportunities around TMIP-J Sustainment, TMIP-J Optimization, and User Adoption and Training, all due to become active over the next couple of quarters. There are a series of Industry Days leading up to the active procurement, which we’ve been attending. We’ve also been responding to the market research requests, submitted RFI responses, and are working with Industry partners to build the best teams to win this work. Thank you to Clayton and Darren for helping throughout the process.
NIWC Visit to Charleston, SC
CEO Dr. Wilson and Senior Vice President, Federal Health Tiphanie Forst made a trip down to Charleston, South Carolina to meet with the Medical Information Delivery Lead at Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, Sean Smith. It was our first time as a leadership team meeting face-to-face with NIWC leadership, and we enjoyed our discussion around the NIWC programs, their current and future state, and how SeKON can best support their mission. Additionally, we had the opportunity to meet with our new hire, Bryan Johnson, who brings tremendous experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD). We’re excited to leverage his expertise and leadership skills as we continue to enhance our business.
DHA/VA Industry Day
SeKON participated in the 20th Biannual DoD/VA & Government HIT Summit, which provided a full spectrum view towards the DoD, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and Federal efforts to provide Veterans a secure, interoperable and connected health IT ecosystem. Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization (FEHRM) Program Office Industry Interoperability Roundtable
We attended the FEHRM Roundtable in May with the major theme being, “Interoperability Resources Bridging the Gaps in Care.” Twice a year, the FEHRM hosts an Industry Interoperability Roundtable to discuss the current and future state of health information technology and health information exchange. The roundtable highlighted the importance of the FEHRM, DoD, Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Coast Guard collaborating with external partners to ensure the single, common federal electronic health record (EHR) serves the unique needs of beneficiaries.
